Wine Campus is a modern wine institute that brings wine knowledge through profound wine education to wine enthusiasts and (aspiring) professionals.
Initially, the institute attracted primarily
delegates living and working in the Mediterranean basin. Today,
our students hail from Europe and beyond and our
courses are internationally recognised. Wine Campus is
still located in and operates independently from Malta, the heart of the Mediterranean.
Wine Campus shares in the common educational project for the promotion of the wine industry via higher and professional education. It is aimed
at teaching oenology, viticulture, wine
tasting methodology and
sommeliership. We also educate (aspiring) professionals in the retail, wholesale, export, business, management and hospitality sectors of the wine
and spirits industry.
Wine Campus delivers regular (not via
e-learning) short and long wine appreciation
courses. Wine Campus organises work shops
and field trips and seconds tutors. Besides,
we certify wine stewards who have followed
our course 'The Knowledge'. Further more,
through our Cru project we mentor students
on a 1o1 basis in their pursuit of wine
education and offer bursaries.
HISTORY
OF THE INSTITUTE
Since the 1990s, lecturers of Wine Campus have been
delivering regular wine courses (in a normal
classroom setting) to numerous students in
Europe. Given the popularity of the Internet
and online courses, the teachings of Wine Campus were expanded to
anyone anywhere who has a computer, access
to the Internet and the keenness to learn
about wine.

TUTORS
AND COURSE CONSULTANTS
Every student that enrols finds it a
pleasure and a privilege to be surrounded by
an outstanding corps of tutors and course
consultants, academic professionals, wine
trade specialists and Masters of Wine.
Specialist tuition across a wide range of
wine related subjects is available to a very
high level and we actively support and apply
the principles of the EU’s Principles on
E-learning.

WINE COURSES AVAILABLE
Our courses cover both long as well as short courses, the main difference being that the short courses are essentially taught in a regular class room face to face (f2f) environment and the long courses via E-learning.
Then we also offer serious vocational wine courses specifically for those persons who are already, or wish to become, wine professionals.
Financially challenge students should check
out
'The Knowledge' and
'Protégé Plan'.

2008
WINE COURSES IN MALTA
By popular demand a number of short f2f wine
courses are once again open to delegates in
a number of centres in the Mediterranean
region. All our short courses are of a high
professional standard and the wealth of
resources used by the tutors is available to
