Wine Campus offers mainly online wine courses of a high academic standard.
Our approach is nevertheless not elitist and we do provide regular courses and training, too. We also offer fun-filled but informative short wine courses and workshops to keen wine enthusiasts as well as professionals in the wine trade, management, sommeliers and hospitality trade and those who already have some grounding in the basic principles of wine.
As always our course fees are democratic and we offer value.
GENERAL INFORMATION REGULAR CLASSROOM WINE COURSES
All participants at short courses are seated, and tutored by qualified and practising wine professionals (none of our tutors are merely well-qualified hobbyists). Our tutors hold various international wine qualifications from California, France, from South Africa to Belgium and the UK.
The wine tasting sessions are done in a fun but nevertheless professional style and usually but not exclusively hosted at the auditorium
of Wine Campus, Malta.
Proper tasting sheets and standard tasting glasses are used, with spittoons, and bottled water also being provided.
-
Wine Campus also certifies wine stewards and sommeliers whilst setting the industry standards for wine service together with the community's hospitality sector.
-
Upon request we also deliver
One on One (1o1) coaching (or mentoring) of individual students who are preparing for a particular test or examination (such as for example certification tests as Wine Steward or the WSET diploma).
-
Given the proximity of the sea and marina facilities to the institute's base, we provide
wine training and consultancy to crew members of private yachts.
