This
Indirectly, this wine course will facilitate participants to improve their knowledge of viticulture and oenology and allows persons with little wine knowledge or those with such wine knowledge, to become more conversed in the art of assessing different types and styles of wine methodically.
But as a student of this master course, you shall primarily familiarise yourself with what is expected of you as a wine steward. You will get to know the 'in and outs' of composing and maintaining a wine list well; the key to making high profits on beverage sales. You'll come to understand the need to know more about the various styles of wines and their origin. As a well schooled sommelier will be better equipped to sell more wine in a profitable manner this course provides some expert tips on how to make wine move! Water, still or sparkling, is usually served throughout the meal and you shall also explore which type of water enhances the pleasure derived from wine.
A. ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Besides a fair knowledge of English and some basic computer skills, there are no other entrance requirements.
